An Adventure Every Time Whether it's an excursion to Peru that included a 10-hour bus trip over the Andes or a voyage to a remote Venezuelan village on the Amazon, Mike & Melody's annual mission trips always result in a win-win situation. On one hand, Mike & Melody get to see parts of the world they never imagined they would and meet interesting people from around the globe. And on the other hand, they are able to lend a hand to those in need and bring about true change in the lives of those who need it most.
"It gets us out of our comfort zone and allows us to see things we've never seen before," Mike says. "But more importantly, it's extremely rewarding to be able to help bring about huge changes in the lives of others."
Mike and Melody have now focused there efforts in Mozambique, Africa, the third poorest country in the world where 65% of the population does not have access to clean safe drinking water. Mike and Melody have been able to drill three wells in the last eighteen months bringing safe clean water to over 900 families.
